Hope and Ambition

Ever since young, my father always forces me to study while I did not like it. I find studying is difficult, compared to playing with my childhood friends. But as soon as I grow up, I'm thankful to my father very much because now I'm enlightened very well how important it is to gain knowledge and be educated.

First thing first, I study so that I can become a good servant to Allah who is eligible to enter His jannah. Without studying hard in school, I won't know who Allah is alongside of His commandments and prohibitions. I won't know who Rasulullah is and His admirable virtues. I won't know Islam which is the religion stated in my ID card.

Other than that, I also want to be a good daughter. I study not solely because my father forced me to (maybe yes when I was small) but now because I want them to feel proud having a virtuous child that can contribute to the society, so that all of their efforts raising me since I was born is done of countless worth.

I also want to gain knowledge as many as I can so that I can refute the people who always speak fallacy in the society. Though I am an introvert, I really hope this fact won't stop me from speaking up the truth. It is very eye-soaring seeing how some people know got misled and hold the wrong mindset.

And lastly, yes, since I learn law, my ambition is to be a lawyer or legal advisor or law lecturer. Cannot decide which one should I prioritise hehe since I'm only in my first year. I appreciate what I am currently learning and I hope that in future I will be able to urge the society especially the superiors to use the law well in order to curb our social problems according to the guidelines set in Shariah.

That's it about my hope and ambition. Thank you :)
